Australia has the highest incidence of skin cancer in the world. Two out of three people who live in Australia will develop some form of skin cancer. Basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma are the commonest forms of skin cancer. Melanoma is a much less common form of skin cancer but is potentially more life threatening.
Consequently it is important to keep an eye on your own skin and report any changes to your doctor. It is, also, important to have a regular check with your doctor.
We are pleased to be able to offer skin checks for all our patients. We, also, offer treatment for skin cancer and pre-cancerous lesions. This includes both surgical and non-surgical options.
We have an excellent relationship with local specialists and can use their expertise as required.
